Draft – pending legal review. This page describes how Arbitra works today and is not yet a final legal document.
Terms of Use
These terms describe the basic rules for using Arbitra. By creating an account or using a workspace you agree to them.
What Arbitra is
Arbitra is software that helps arbitration institutes organise filings, parties, notices, deadlines, documents and case steps in one record. Arbitra is not an arbitral institution, a tribunal or a law firm, and it does not give legal advice or decide disputes.
Accounts and workspaces
- New institute workspaces stay pending until Arbitra has reviewed the owner and the institute. Arbitra may approve, refuse or suspend a workspace.
- Parties, representatives and arbitrators join by invitation or approved connection and see only the proceedings they have a role on.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not access cases or workspaces you have no role on, or try to bypass access controls.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share.
- Do not misuse notices, for example by sending them to people with no connection to the proceeding.
Institutes and their content
Each institute is responsible for its rules, its cases and the notices it sends. Notices are sent by email or WhatsApp through third-party providers; delivery depends on those providers and on the contact details supplied, and is not guaranteed.
Identity verification
Where verification through a government locker service is offered, it relies on that service being available and on your consent in that flow. How we handle the result is described in the Privacy Notice.
Audit trail
Case step changes and workspace administration actions are recorded and cannot be edited by ordinary users.
